Objective of the league The general objects of The League are and shall be to promote the understanding of Islam among its members, the general Muslim community and Australian society: to assist its members and all Muslims to abide by the principles and teachings of Islam in regard to their social, moral and spiritual life; to foster their social contact and cooperation among Muslims of the area in general and Fijian Muslims in particular; and to create an avenue for a combined charitable and humanitarian effort of Muslims towards all those in need irrespective of colour, race or religion .
